Corsa or Remus Race owner input
I am looking for owner input from people who either have the Corsa or Remus Race exhaust. I have spent months reading threads, checking out videos and researching exhausts.
I am not interested in hearing about other systems, I have considered them. My decision is between these two choices. Both of these exhausts will meet my needs but I want to know if the Remus is really worth the additional money. Both have a comparable sound for daily driving while keeping my CATs in tact. I have seen a few threads of Corsa owners switching to Remus which leads me to believe they weren't content with their decision. Corsa – $850 • Don't have to cut my msport diffuser • Mufflers are chrome and not as subtle • Fit and finish doesn't seem as high as the Remus Remus Race – $1350 • Do not want to upgrade to a CF aftermarket diffuser • worried cutting the diffuser will look awkward • Austrian exhaust top quality Thanks for any input Last edited by mpulsiv335i; 06-29-2012 at 09:23 AM.. I have Corsa. I like it.
When you are cruising, its very quite. When you WOT, the sound is deep and loud. |

I had corsa/uuc on my pervious e90 335i for over a year. Sound is very nice outside of the car and at higher revs. Otherwise it was pretty quiet. I would be interested see what the sound would be like with 2nd cat delete.

Same here as I couldn't find any videos with 2nd cat delete or with downpipes installed. The Remus sounds very aggressive with the DPs.

I see you live in atl also. UUC is just north in alpharetta, I might try and get insight from them on what a 2nd cat delete would do...IMO the exhaust was just a bit too quiet.

I thought about going up there to check them out, but their prices are a few hundred dollars more than I found online. I bet they have done one with a 2nd cat delete, might be worth a call.
I don't want obnoxious, but I also don't want too quiet |

It seems most of the diffusers I found wouldn't accommodate the 90mm tips (Remus Sport) I believe the Race is 84mm tips. Worth doing a little more digging.

Remus Race
I have remus race quads and I had the cut diffuser on for a while. It really didn't look too bad, but at certain angles from the side you can c that it was cut. Otherwise if anyone is looking at ur rear end, the diffuser looks fine.
Great with stock DPs and when you go catless DPs its a whole other world. After the break in period there is more pops and exotic sounds. Wouldn't trade my exhaust for anything.... except maybe eisenmann if it was cheaper.

Helped several customers with the Remus systems and had zero problems and zero send backs. Very well made kits that provide an aggressive yet refined exhaust note. New slash cut race tips look SWEET as well!

I would say around 500 miles for me. But some people say 100 or so I think. I am no expert and didn't do a scientific research on it, but since I got it a couple months back it really has changed. Lots o burples sometimes. I would get a new DP tho, louder exhaust and louder turbo spool! or a hi flow cat if your worried about emissions.

I had Corsa with catless DP on my deceased 335i and loved the sound of it.
