Moving from Southern California!
Hello, I will be moving to Hyde Park/Poughkeepsie NY around early November timeframe to attend CIA.
With no family/friends there at all currently, was wondering if there is anyone here willing to show me around, where in Poughkeepsie to find housing, and etc. Thanks and looking forward to meeting everyone!

Interesting. While I may not be from that area of NY, I am moving to CA soon. Are you driving up or getting your car shipped? Wanna buy my winter tires/wheels =]?

I grew up in SoCal and moved here a couple years ago too. Buy snow tires, get butt warmers, and drive ur car here!!! You won't regret it!!! I've driven my car from here to Cali atleast 6-7 times in the last 5 years...

Damn! what's with all the negativity here!

hey san dog, I use to live in IB, your gonna love ny, hop on the metro north train when you get here and check out the city, lots of great restaurants.
