Might be moving to Connecticut in a couple of months......how many are you out there? Is there any of you out that way? How bad or strict are the dealerships about moded cars?

Close to UCONN, the dealership you would be interested in is New Country and I don't know much about them.

Looking at house s all over but found some sweet deals in mansfield, clinton and meridan but I was told meridan not so good of an area is that true

My 2 cents...

There are some nice parts of Meriden but as a whole I think the town is a dump. Given the title of your thread I would assume that proximity to Storrs is a factor to consider and it is a bit of a hike from there.

Clinton is nice and it would be great to be on the shoreline but like Meriden it is not very close to the UCONN. I wouldn't want the commute, but if it doesn't bother you this is where I would pick.

Mansfield can't be beat for easy access to the University and is not a bad little town. The downside is that it is kind of out in the boonies and the only decent sized town in the area is its neighbor to the south, Willimantic... which is
