Inside Angel Eye

I have an E92 LCI - Is the headlight lens inside the inner angel eye ring completely redundant?

Dipped and full beam lights both come from the outer ring, so does the inner do anything?

Yep, unless you have adaptive xenons, the inner rings are just for show! That's where the cornering lights would go if you had them.
