SERVICE reminder?
I am getting "SERVICE" in the CHECK OK box when I start my car for a few seconds...
I checked within the menus there and I still have a few thousand miles left before I am up for service. Does anyone know if this is just a friendly reminder to save up some money because my service will cost me more than I imagined? |

What is "check ok" box?
Anyway, all our cars display the distance/time remaining to the next service in the first few seconds after startup. |

Yes, I do see the distance/time remaining to the next service at startup. It is just recently that it displays the word 'SERVICE" now. My next service for the diagram with the car on the lift is ~2500, and oil change is ~4400. I don't see an exclamation mark or anything. Anyone know if this is just a friendly reminder that I am due for a service in a couple thousand miles? |

I just checked what my car displays at startup. It displays an exclamation sign in a triangle, accompanied by the distance till next service and date of the next service. No word "service" though.
