code 29dc, ses, v8 noise, shuddering at higher boost..
Hey guys new problem : /
On map 1 jb4, when flooring it in 3rd & 4th I would get a misfire type feeling and the car sputtering felt like it was gonna stall, then restarted it was ok scanned codes and got 29dc. I have gotten 29f2 in the past and thought it was fluke after i upgraded jb4 firmware but now im not sure... hpfp??? |

I'd say it was Your hpfp.. 29f2 is a fuel related fault. When did your change the injectors/spark plugs?

I'm getting 29e2 and 29f2 fuel related codes at WOT in 4th and 5th gear.
Terry told me to set future use A = 2 and fuel loop to 80. Changing it to 2 turns off auto learning for fuel loop and it will stay at 80. It kept auto learning up to around 100 and than throw codes. Don't know if this is your problem but i would give it a try Gl, R

I installed current firmware and started getting the fuel codes at wot in 4&5 gear I sent in logs and that's what he told me to do
If urs is the same issue as mine hook up laptop and check fuel loop number, mine throws codes when it gets near a hundred. Fuel loop is on autolearn so it's always changing, future use A set to 2 turns off auto learn for fuel loop, I was told to do this and set it to 80 Hope this helps R

If you would have read the directions before you updated ur JB4 OR if you would have read the posts above you would know why. They can't reproduce it because it's due to the JB4 not the car. Like stated 5 times above. It's the auto learn and you need to disable it as directed 5 times above. This is your problem not the car or JB , as it's stated in the directions that you didn't read, and still insist on ignoring. |

UPDATE* Problem still happening getting 29dc on map5 with just 91 oct but car runs %100 percent when stock.. This only happens when going full throttle in either map 5 or map 1 the car will hesitate for a sec then start vibrating and shaking until i restart and all is fine...
Open loop is disabled and fueling is set to 80, would lowering that to 75 make a difference? |

I had very similar symptoms. Sounds to me that your low pressure sensor is shot. Go ahead and replace it and It will solve your issues. Get someone that has INPA working and look at menu for Measurement Block 6. The low pressure sensor reading will be there and if it reads at 5000~ Hpa then good but if it's stuck on a higher number with no sign of movement then it's definitely shot. Same scenario my car would work fine until going either 3/4 or full throttle the car would hesitate and then stumble because the injectors are cut off from 3 cylinders. Quick on and off the car is normal again until you push it again. It got to the point where it backfired and then threw a code. But before that it was just doing exactly like what your car is doing nOw.

I didn't say the LPFP. I said change out the LP sensor. Change out the sensor first and if the problems persist then change out the LPFP. I only had to change my sensor and the car is running better than ever. Crazy how a little sensor would cause all these issues

Stock it would not see that much boost and the demand for fuel is not the same as when tune is activated. I didn't try as I always leave tune on map 4 on my Procede. If u have someone with INPA working, it's really easy for them to read the low pressure sensor reading. Find someone local that has it functional

Ah I'm having this same problem. But it doesn't happen every time I got WOT. Only sometimes. I got like 5 super loud backfires and an engine malfunction icon popped up, then went away. Car was limping. Shut of and restart and the car was fine even after going WOT a few times.
cn555ic, where did you purchase the sensor? I might try that. Codes I'm throwing: 29F3 Fuel pressure sensor, electrical 29E2 Fuel injection rail, pressure sensor signal 29DC Cylinder injection switch-off 2A2D Fuel low pressure system, fuel pressure 2DC3 Control clamp 15 Any chance dealer will fix the issue with these codes? I know you won't actually be able to replicate the problem on stock boost. |
