The black intake piping should be all the way down into the accordian tubing. Pics are a little too close to tell, but it seems to be done correctly..

Its the BMS intake. Do you think it's in enough? The car runs and sounds fine. IDK what to do lol

True. I just already have it in, and wanted to know if the bends are ok.

the install is fine. everything looks normal and the couplers do NOT need to go any futher down the accordion... it will yield no difference.

Its fine, as long as the filter dont rub against other objects. You wont really be able to slide that cone down much further before it hits the air duct. Youll want that flexiblity from that plumbing.

E90Company, hows the dci working out for you around town ? Getting heatsoaked at all or any delay in throttle when in traffic?

So far so good. IAT's are higher than the stock airbox for sure, but I haven't noticed any delays or loss in power.

yup there is a slight oval shaped bent! looks normal to me, you do have to wiggle the coupler in there pretty hard. or else the two filter will have a hard time fitting. make sure you dont push your coupler to deep inside the filter!
