Is the iPhone 4 snap in adaptor the same for the 4S ???

Im upgrading from an iPhone 3G to a 4S and will need to change my cradle. As my car is a 2007 model without USB, can i use any adaptor for the iPhone 4 ?

should be... same size, same dock connector. I wouldnt think you'd have a problem

bit weird given all it does is charge the phone and give it's antenna a boost. Theres no intelligence in the cradle as far as I know, as thats all done via bluetooth. So why it wouldnt work, when the 4S uses the exact same dock connector is beyond me.

Sounds like BMW covering their asses, just in case

I can't remember whether BMW have a 4 and 4S cradle. Whatever, my 4S works fine with whichever one the dealer supplied me with when I told them which model I'd got.

Hmmm, sound like i may have to take a £45 punt on ebay unless anyone on here has an iPhone 4 (non S) in their car that i can try?

Have a look here. All marked as 4/4S. Just depends on which options you have fitted.
