What trans oils can be used other than OEM
My trans heat exchanger had a leak on the tank. I fixed the leak. But about a liter was lost due to from removing and replacing.Im not sure how much was lost before it was fixed. The car drives fine no warning LIGHT on dash. The car has 85,2367 miles. The oil is very dark back and smells a hint burnt.I was thinking about daining and refilling. My question is that I looked around online there are alot of differnt oils to choose from ZF,Readline,ETC what are the names of all the oils that can be used? BMW wants $29 a liter Geez Redline is like $12 a quart. Im not trying to be cheap i just want some more affordable options.. Thank you
