BMW wheel cleaner gel vs. Sonax full effect wheel cleaner

hello. i know there have been people out there who say that sonax is the same thing as bmw wheel cleaner gel and some say they are not the same. i want an acid free cleaner, the bmw wheel cleaner gel says acid free but the first ingredient listed is: polyaspartic acid. does sonax have this acid ingredient? thanks

Just looked at my sonax bottle and it doesn't list the ingredients . Everyone on here agrees they are the same. I'll know for sure this weekend as I'm going to buy a bottle of bmw wheel cleaner tomorrow

Also don't let the word "acid" fool you. This particular one is a weak amino acid, which is a huge difference from a more caustic acid that you probably have in your mind.

I think he wants something pH neutral... that's where the word "acid" comes into play.

This would be key not "non-acidic" but "PH-neutral".
P21S/S100 works well, will not damage wheels and is PH neutral, however not as strong a cleaner as Sonax but certainly safe. Best practice spray wheels, keep them wet, clean them one at a time to avoid the cleaner dwelling too long or drying, you will minimze the chance of a problem this way.

if the BMW has an ingredient that Sonax doesnt have then how are they the same? also some people say the bmw wheel cleaner gel is safe but others say its not. some say DO NOT USE it on aftermarket rims.
