Results from Akuma Motorsports ATP tune!

Well I picked my car up today and the power delivery is very smooth and it doesnt drop off in the higher RPMs like it did with the OTS map. Akuma installed an Aquamist HFS-3 meth kit and did an ATP Pro Tune. Im very happy with how the car runs and the delta power gained. Ill attach a few graphs for everyone to check out. Sorry for the pic quality I used my phone. I thought that this tune and meth would bring a bit more power. But John(Owner of Akuma) made me a bit of a conservative tune. He wants the car to be reliable and last. He also said if I wanted him to pull more power out of the car, he could. But everyone at Akuma was very knowledgable and kind. And John is a hell of a calibrator. They will be having a group buy for the tri state area guys for an ATP Pro Tune. So stay tuned for more info on that. But I have to say I am very happy with how my car is running and how the power is delivered. They also used a mustang dyno which reads lower then others and it was 100-101 degrees in the dyno room. Im also a bit worried I may have some caked up intake valves. Im at nearly 40,000 miles. So not sure if that has any affect. But here are the results.

That's a very conservative tune. Pretty sure you can squeeze out another 20 with that meth.

Did you get a baseline run at Akuma when you were stock? I'm curious because there's another member from NJ who dyno'd on a Mustang dyno at EFI Logics and made 370rwhp with just FBO on Cobb Stg 2+ fmic OTS maps, no meth.

My car made 250awhp on that same dyno at EFI Logics that day stock, and 284awhp with Cobb Stg 1 aggressive. Now that I'm FBO I'd like to go back for another dyno at EFI Logics...then meth!

Kudos to you for being one of the first people to take the plunge with ATP AND using meth on Cobb!

Hey Danny, no I didnt get a baseline with Akuma when I was stock. I never got a baseline anywhere. TO be honest, I never thought Id mod the car at all. But then I started getting different bolt on's and didnt stop until I was FBO. lol So I dont have a stock baseline at all. But it although my HP numbers arent the highest, it seems like the gain from the OTS maps was pretty good. So in the end Im happy with what the car made. And I think Akuma can get more power out of the car, but it feels pretty good as is. More power is always better, but I also want a reliable car. But in the end, Ill probably try to get more power lol.

I just made 380whp / 404wtq with no meth on EFI's dyno after my protune. Danny, were you talking about me?

Op, nice gains, you can't compare numbers from different dyno's.

Nice gains John! Happy to see that you have the car back and are enjoying it. Also good to hear positive reviews on local places for installs.

We are trying to get a big KoP meet going this Wednesday the 18th so it would be great if you could make it out.

Congrats and hope to see you and that purdy car soon!
