New to e90 (335i xDrive intro)
Hello all,
Been lurking on these forums for months, bought my 2011 335i xDrive about 7-8 months ago. Came out of a 370z, realized it wasn't terribly practical for an everyday car w/dogs and hauling stuff, heh. Before that had a B6 S4 (V8) and before that a Stage II 04 STi. Anyways, my car is 100% stock, still deciding what to do. Test drove an 09 M3 last night, was thinking about getting rid of the 335 and moving into a used M3. Not sure though, the M3 didn't blow me away - it was fun, but, IDK. Anyways, wanted to introduce myself, as no matter what I decide I'm sure I'll be spending more time on the forums, as an active member. I live in Brooklyn and used to goto the 370z meets in Great Neck Long Island, there were a # of BMWs that sometimes showed up. I had a black 370z with headers/full exhaust. |

welcome dude and congrats on the new ride!
PS M3 is a M3 instant status (great car) it all depends on you if you can handle the extra cost(ins/more expensive mods/gas), Gotta Pay to Play. GL if you decided to switch it up. |

Welcome. I tend to go to the great neck meets. Maybe I've meet you before. I have the Montego Blue e92 with like everything on it lol.

@ Wilazn - possibly, my names Ben, short dood, had a black 370z with headers back. Sold it for a silver 335 (which I brought to the meet once or twice).
@ cn555ic - I have a problem, haha. Yeah, I actually decided to just keep the 335. I think I'm going to do wheels, suspension, exhaust and bmw tune, so I can keep it under warranty. @ hemi to e90 - Sure thing bro, lemme throw some up now. Audi is/was great, just my B6 got to be very unreliable/expensive once the miles got high. Love that car though, styling and power was awesome. * * * https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2172584/cars/s4_rear.JPG - Image is HUGE, heh. * * * * @ RedKev335 - Word man. Yeah I feel you. It was fun to drive, but I'm going to wait to lock in the color and mileage I want. Thanks for the warm welcome all! Last edited by mr_sk; 07-14-2012 at 07:00 PM.. |
