Wheel/ Tire Rubbing Coils?
Hey guys,
I just finished an install of my fresh ST V1 coils. Everything seemed ok until I started hearing a whirring sound while I was driving. I went straight back to the garage and jacked up the car to see what was going on. I realized that the wheel was pretty much slammed up against the coils. I'm thinking some spacers COULD solve this? But at the same time, I'm nearly rubbing the fenders at only et35. I can barely stick my fingers under the fender. Here's what I'm running: Front: 19x 8.5 et 35 225/35/19 falken fk 452 ST V1 Coils Here are some pics I took to illlustrate what's going on: Any help is much appreciated! Thanks! You could raise it the 1/2" or so it looks like you'd need to clear the tire, or run a 5mm or so spacer.

You're probably too low, I have st coils and my front fender is just a tad lower behind the tire. I'm on 225/18/40 et 28, so it probably needs a raise but try spacer too. Do it before it settles down more.

Thanks for all the help guys! I'll be giving the spacers a shot soon.
Here's a photo of my height. Didn't adjust anything other than the coils itself: |
