Would help if you gave as much information on your set up as possible. Like what passive xovers you have, which HU you have, which channels are amped, what exact speakers you have in each location etc...

Ok. I am assuming you skipped input set up, and set the MS-8 up with Front 2 Way and SL/SR 1 way.

I would set the subsonic filter at 40hz@24db (assuming you have the Jehnert XE200 woofers). I actually bought these today direct from Jehnert, Germany, and spoke to them face to face. He said 30-40hz will be ok, but the danger with this speaker is that you won't hear distortion, i.e it will melt first. I actually think 30hz may be too low so i will not go lower than 40hz. But dont take my word for it, it may be safer to go lower than 40. Maybe someone else can advise on this. You have an XD amp so over powering shouldnt be an issue. Just be careful with boosting the low frequencies on the 31 band eq and the bass level as this can cause the voice coil to melt. But i'm not really sure how much you can safely boost the eq by. Again, maybe someone else who has this set up can advise?

The MS-8 should then ask you for Front Hi/Low (or something along those lines). This is for your channels 1 and 2 and should be set as 200hz@24db. Same for the sides.

Your amp gain should be ok, but I have always used 11 o clock as a max. I am waiting on a voltmeter to measure it properly.

Also, are you level matching all your speakers before MS-8 calibration?

Can't remember if there was anything else you asked as you edited your post.

New ms 8 settings:
sub =2, subsonic at 40HZ, 18db slope, low pass at 150Hz at 12db slope
Front = 1way
Sides = 1 way, 150Hz at 18db
Calibration volume = -25db
volume after calibration = -20db
Any suggestions to improve sound?

Set your amp gains before calibration so your amped channels are the same "level" as your rears. to do this access the secret menu. Press Left Right Left Right, each time holding for a second. Go to Output identification. Set volume at -30db. Then click on each channel and make them all the same level as your rears. Use an SPL meter, or even an iPhone app, for this.

Sub - None
Front - 2 Way. Subsonic 40hz @ 24db. Front Hi/Low 200hz @ 24 db
Sides - 1 Way 200hz @ 24db
Calibration Volume - If you level match your channels then anywhere between -20db and -25db.
Volume after calibration - Thos should be -6db
