Hi there,

I'm sure this topic has been discussed to death, but just want some quick input from my fellow e90er's on a set of rims I am interested in.

Information about my car:
-07 E90 Pre-LCI 335i
-OEM Stock Sport Suspension
-Not planning on lowering this year, maybe sometime in the future though

Rims:
BBS LM Champion Edition
-19x8.5 +33 for Fronts
-19x9.5 +33 for Rears (with reverse mounted faces)

Tires Sizing
-235 Fronts/265 Rears


Few questions
1) Will I have any issues with rubbing etc, will I need to do any modifications givin my current set-up? Should I roll my fenders too with this setup?

2) Would you say this is the most aggressive setup I can do or can I go more for my car based on rims? What about tires...275 or will it not work? What are you recommendations?

3) Would you suggest spacers with this setup for a more flush look or you think it's not needed? And if so what sizing would you suggest?

4) Anyone with personal experience with both Hankook V12 Ventus vs Continental Extreme DW's? I don't track so this will be a DD (half city/highway). Is the slightly higher price of the Conti's worth it in the end compared to the Hankook's?

1. Will work perfect. No need to roll.
2. Yes, most aggressive without adding a bit of work such as a guard roll. 275s with a rounded sidewall might work. I'd stick to 265s though and then see if you can add a 5mm spacer or something for a more flush look.
3. If you want to add 5 or 10mm spacers, you'll have to stick to 265s decrease tyre width ~10mm or so
4. Contis > Hankook

Thanks for the quick information. Just a few more.

1)Wouldn't you prefer to have the bigger tire/width as opposed to using spacers if the difference (5-10mm) is just that little.

2) If I do decide to roll fenders etc for a more aggressive fitting, what specs would you decide for the tires given the rims I am getting, since those are not going to change, but the tires are more flexible since I will be ordering new.

1) Yes I'd take more rubber at the back, but it depends if you want form or function!

2) Stick with those specs and a 275 tyre should work fine with guard roll, stock m sport height and no fat chics.
