Loud Humming/ Droning Sound When Turning

Ever since installing my new wheels and front coils (even before I installed the rear coils), I've noticed a fairly loud and low humming (more so a very low frequency whirring/ droning) sound whenever making left or right turns. This was never the case with my stock suspension and wheels (it started the day I installed the front coils and wheels on the first test run). There is no play in the hub either.

At first I thought that the wheels may have been rubbing the coils as the fronts were pretty slammed, however I didnt find any signs of wear on either the wheel or the coils. I rose the coils up by about an inch and a bit anyways and now there is definitely enough clearance (as seen below). The fenders and outer tire also show no signs of rubbing.

I should mention that I am definitely due for an alignment though (needing to steer slightly to the left to stay straight), but I'm waiting for the coils to settle in first. Perhaps this could be causing the noise?

Currently on:

Fronts: 19x8.5 et 35 225/35/19 falken fk 452
Rears: 19x9.5 et 40 235/35/19 falken fk 452
Coils: ST V1
Everything has less than 100 KMs on them

I've also been reading around and have come to a mixed bag of reviews on the 452's road noise. Could the noise I'm hearing come from the tires?

Thanks!

hub bearing maybe, or your "toe out on turns " "alignmet" check the rear side of the frame rail it may be rubbing the inside of the wheel when u turn

Should there be visible rub marks inside the rear wheels if it is indeed rubbing the rear side of the frame rail? Would it be more so of a metallic rubbing sound though?

some times its the tire thats rubbing and its hard to see marks on a black tire so id check the rear frame rail. when trying to find noises like this its best to have load on the suspetion when checking "like an alinment rack ur car sits on its suspention and you could have someone turn your wheels while u look for the noise

I actually just threw on my stock wheels on the front (left my rears on) to eliminate some factors.

My stock wheels are Type 156 (16x7 ET34 205/55 R16)

To my surprise, the road noise dropped significantly and the "humming" on turns completely disappeared.

Could it be that my tires are too low profile (falken 452 225/35/19 on a 19x8.5)?

Yeah, I'm still uncertain based on various reviews on the FK 452s road noise. Some say it's loud, some say it's quiet. I guess that also really depends on the profile of the tires.

I actually raised the car all the way up (to eliminate fender and/or strut/spring rubbing) and the sound can still be heard on the new wheels with the 452s. I actually felt all around the wheel (in straight, turned left and turned right positions) and there is plenty of clearance all around. There are only a few spots with finger width (approx 10mm) clearance from the fender liner, so if anything it may just be rubbing the liners a little bit. I don't see any rubbing marks on the liners though. I'm really inclined to believe that the sound is indeed just coming from the tires.

I don't think the tire size is the problem, a 235/35 will fit a bit better on a 8.5.

Even if the 452's were a bit noisy, it wouldn't explain why you're hearing 'humming' only during turns. Also, is this sound you're hearing a rubbing sound, as in your tire or rim is coming into contact with something resulting in a scraping sound. Or is it a humming where the rotation of your tire or hub making noise? I know you said your tire has even tread wear but your tires may be 'cupping' since you're due for an alignment. Do your tires look like these? This is kind of extreme but you can feel your tire to see if it has uneven (not camber) wear.
