2003 530i Sport Winter Tire Question!
My father just picked up a 03 530I with sport package option. He is currently running 235/45/17 and I was going to use the OEM wheels for the winter set up. I found a great deal on CL for a set of blizzaks ($275) that are brand new and unmounted. Only issue is they are 235/55/17. I think the fitment will not work but my father (the car expert) says they will be fine!
Any ideas??? ![]() |

235/55/17 are much taller than 235/45/17, in fact 6.624%, so I'd say too tall.

Question 2 Guys!
So OEM is 235/45/17 and I found the following tires in new condition. Only thing is that they are staggered fitment versus my non-staggered OEM. (Tires will go on OEM rims) Bridgestone Blizzak WS50 245-45-17 Studless Bridgestone Blizzak LM22 225-45-17 Studless Will it work? |

^^^ It'll work but since you have square wheels, I'd stick with square tires. 235/45/17 all around. 235/55's are definitely way too tall.

235/45R17 will fit with no problem on the 03 530I .
