Winter and Summer Set up idea. What do you think?
Sorry if it has been discussed before, but I would really appreciate opinions since I think this forum is extremely helpful.
I have a 330xi with 162’s and since I live in Boston where snow is definitely an issue I was thinking on installing non-run flat winter tires on my 162’s and keeping an M Mobility Kit in the trunk in case of a flat. I know 18 inch wheels are not the best for winter driving, but considering it’s an all wheel drive vehicle and with winter tires, I doubt it would be an issue, please correct me if I am wrong. Plus I love the car’s appearance with the 162’s. Also I plan on getting the 179’s 19 inch wheels and tires for the summer, so changing tires on the 162’s and damaging them is not an issue for me because once the winter tires are on, hopefully they will stay on. I appreciate any comments or ideas. P.S. I think the board is awesome, keep up the good work. |
