Basic spacer questions
My next mod is going to be some spacers for the front and back. I am thinking about getting 16mm in the back 10 in the front. Is this a bad setup? Will I have issues with my tires or anything like that? I have the oem rims and runflat tires not sure if it matters. Any suggestions on how a spacer setup would be appreciated. Thanks

Wider in back will increase understeer. Spacers alter the original geometry of the design. That's not important since really no thought was put into the suspension and how it works. Spacers create a weak link between the wheel and hub. Increased vibration and tire wear are more likely. Etc.

In a nutshell it looks good and who cares unless you track your car...
And if you buy a quality spacer you won't have vibrations. |

I installed BMS 12mm front and 15mm rear on my 335is. Look great and no vibrations but couldn't get over the "weak link" thought in the back of my mind...so I removed them. Not 100% sure, but I also think the 15mm rubbed a little in the back. If you are a worrier like me, I'd skip the spacers. If not, they did improve the stance quite a bit.

Be sure it's a reputable brand with quality bolts, your hubs are rust-free and you've installed them properly and you should be fine. I'm not sure if many companies make 16mm spacer but a 15mm should work fine. Most track cars/ race cars use some sort of spacer so if you're buying a reputable brand, no issues on the road or track.
