Depo v2 p90. Anybody using these?
Hey people!
Thinking of buying the depo v2 p90 xenon hid projectors from ebay seller fishcake. Just wondered firstly what the procedure is to turn off the amber corners so they are not on all the time.. Anybody have these headlights installed? If so, any chance you could post pics with the angel eyes on etc.. Mainly looking to see what they look like in the day and how bright the rings are! Thanks in advance! Nad |

You can buy the cable off eBay for like $100. I had someone of the forum from my area do it for me, it takes like 5 minutes... And looks AWESOME

From everywhere ive searched ive read that fishcake led type depo v2 p90 are the brightest available for the angel eyes which come with xenon HID.. Just not very keen on driving round with angels on aswell as the amber sides lit up too! Wonder if anyone has these exact headlights with the ambers deleted/covered somehow.. |

PSTEAM Headlights, First picture is the projector acting like a magnifying glass.
This is a picture of what happened after the sun got to it. Here is another picture with it filled with condensation. Happens ever time it rains Too many problems with PSTEAMS headlights, they did give me a full refund though and told me not to worry about sending them back. |

** UPDATE**
PSTEAM's Headlight "not so bright" Left Side is PSTEAMS headlight, Right Side is DEPO from Fishcake.. Can find them both on eBay. PSTEAMS are pretty terrible compaired to the DEPO'S from fishcake, their also like 50x brighter during the day. DEPO'S Left & Right Amber lights are turned off, I do have my car coded if any of you are wondering, im not sure if they have wired it or something to have them turned off but im just letting you know. I hope you guys enjoyed the pics. |

Basicaly - Angel eyes with the three little anber dots when in park mode and low beams Amber sides when indicators are on when turning.. Thats what fishcake said regarding the depo p90 v2.. I got the DEPOs from Fischcake on eBay as well, that already had the HIDs built into them. I've had a fogging issue with my front left one time after the car was power washed, but nothing when it rains regularly. I was able to open them up and let them air out just fine.
My front right one has been perfect since purchase. No problems, no leaking no cracking etc. My front left one has been a little problematic. Like I said I had it leak that one time from powerwashing. Also on a lot of DEPO headlights, the plastic is cheap so it sometimes gets hairline cracks. It does not leak or cause any issues, just looks bad when you get up close and look at it. The last thing is that sometime my front left headlight goes off when I come to a stop for a period of time (weird huh?). I am thinking this is because of the cheap ballasts that they use. Overall I am still happy with them and would purchase them again. Do note that they will not be as reliable or strong as stock parts. If you are okay with that, they look awesome, and the angel eyes are EXTREMELY bright! The upgrade from non-xenons to xenons was also huge! I would probably get them again, but I think I would go with the Umnitza FXR retrofit as well for the HIDs. There WILL be lots of errors, but nothing that you can't code out. I have it set so that the sidelamps are always off except when using turn signals and also made it so that if I turn my parking lights on, it turns on angel eyes only so I can have them on as DRL, since my car was '06 production and does not have DRLs normally. Let me know if you have any more questions. |

Just a quick question though, i was told by the seller that the led amber lights on flash when turning apart from that in low beam and park mode its just the angel eyes that light up along with three little amber dots on the top of each corner.. Is this correct.. Thanks |
