Vishnu Procede & Windows 7

Has anyone else been able to connect to their procede with windows 7? I spent about 1hr figuring out what was going on and realized I needed to download some driver, then found it was connected to COM3. But even after all that the thing won't connect. I changed my power settings to disable the USB gimic per another thread on here refrenced by Vishnu's directions. I need some help here guys.

What cable are you using. I had a similar problem. Also which rev are you using 2.5 or 3? I have the 2.5 and Vishnu recommends a specific serial to USB cable. Utek from amazon. That still didn't work for me so I a, just gonna get an old lap top and run windows xp on it.

I have rev3 and my computer is Win7 64 bit Professional. They don't get along. I had to download Windows XP Virtual Machine (free for Win7 64bit Pro). This works fine. The problem I was having was that Win7 didn't like the driver for the cable.

Got it working today pretty fast. I downloaded the driver from Vishnu's site. Followed the read me first and boom, up and running. I enabled my No lift shift Bumped the boost to 20psi on MAP 2. Map 1 & 2 were both 18psi and everything looked identical... thought 2 was supposed to be more aggressive.

Not sure man^. I think it's just the ability to have two different maps. I'm going to call Vishnu today and run this by them.

It has 2 purposes. Can be a second map with different/more aggressive settings or it is the second map for people who have meth for the Procede to switch over to during meth flow.

Unless you are running race gas and FBO+meth, 20 lbs of boost is going to be too much in the FL heat. I don't run that much and I'm FBO+meth+e85 mix, here in FL.

Also, depending on what map you are running, 100% does not equal 20 lbs. It equals boost setpoints equal to the 100% boost table (which may hit 20 psi in the midrange). The maps that a lot of people are running currently have a 0% boost table and a 100% boost table. The UT value you put in averages the 2 tables by the percent that you enter for your boost table. Not sure what map you are running though.
