Took off Turbo Tuner today.

As the titles says, I took off the Turbo Tuner today and I can definitely feel the decrease in power. Although, the car is still powerful, I have to step on the gas a little bit more to get the power. With the Turbo Tuner, I just tap really lightly and the car goes. The best thing is that it took me less than a minute (literally) to disconnect the Turbo Tuner. The reason why I disconnected it, is because I need to take my car into the dealer tomorrow for the HPFP issue.

For anybody who just wants a little added boost, I would recommend you to get the Turbo Tuner. It's not as powerful as the PROcede or Xede, but it does the job and quite well IMO. And it's really simple to install and uninstall when you need to take your car to the dealership.

I agree 100% with what you said.
The best thing about it is being able to take it off just before you go to the dealer.

Nobody should take this personally, I really think like that. Save your $65 and keep the car stock or buy a more sophisticated solution.

My 2 cents.

Cheers

Eugen,
We are talking about the turbo tuner here; not the Terry Tuner.
Are you trieing to claim that the Terry tuner is the same?
The Turbo Tuner costs $599, not $65 (which is the terry tuner price).

I also have the same train of thought. (great minds think alike )
But I don't knock any products because of it, I feel anyone should buy what they want because it's with their own hard earned cash.

Sorry, my fault. I ment the Terry Tuner. I don't know details about the Turbo Tuner. No idea why I missed the topic completely.

this sounds great...

they make them for the 996 and 997 turbos aswell...

am i correct when i say that it has a special feature to lower the boost increase when the engine temperatures bcome too great?

what else does this thing do.. sounds great for someone whose looking for a less powerful version of the procede at half the price and way easier to install?
Yes it's true that the Turbo Tuner, while priced at $599.00, does offer a 7 day return policy and 2yr/unlimited miles.
