KONI STRT Suspension Kits for 335i
Anyone know anything about these shocks / springs from KONI STRT range.
KONI STR.T – Street Performance Kit Lowers car by: Front - 50mm / Rear: 25mm Car fitment BMW 3-Series E90/91/92/93 Coupe (E92) 320i, 325i, 330i, 335i, 320d, 325d, 330d From Years: 06>12 Was £456, now £387. Seems quite cheap from europerformance. I mean some H&R springs only is like £210ish+, Was going down the springs only route but think in the long run doing it properly is better. |

Seems a good price, but 50mm is a HUGE drop on the front.
I dropped mine 20mm over M sport, and it looks pretty darn low, and it catches on curbs, speed bumps. multistorey ramps etc. |

I have SE 335i, is that suspension different to M sport cause the front gap is MASSIVE at the moment that's why I'm thinking of that drop.
I don't need adjustment, but hoping that the ride wont' be hard though. Anyone know about that? |

http://www.koni.com/190.html They are designed to give a softish ride while firming up in the corners. They generally work well with Eibach springs...

All E92 335i have sport suspension unless the original buyer deleted the option. 2" is a big drop. |

Still haven't measure it yet, sorry but the SE 335i gap looks massive with the stock 18" (which I want to keep), quite like the look of them. didnt like them before but got use to them now.

I,was looking at this kit too! Seems like a solid option, but I was not going to run other springs... I was just going to use what they came with.
Did you bite the bullet in the end bud? |

Any update on this?
I am too debating the same kits str-t or cup, koni kit appears to use h&r springs anyway, makes me wonder how different the kit actually is. |

Hi people,
very sorry been off the forum for ages, lots of things happening. The latest news is that I'm moving on with my 335i... Not going to happen with the suspension now. The masking tape was to hold the side in for a bit, couldn't be bothered to fit the screws back on while I took the lower front grille off to paint in black. Needed to drive the car still so quickly popped the bumper back on minus the screws next to the headlights. |
