FMIC and then high dash temp?

he guys I installed the Big Tom FMIC and ever since the temperature on the dash is really high? could it be the sensor is loose or maybe damaged?

funny thing is that when i start driving the temp goes gradually down.

today it was reading 120!!!!!!!!!! wierd...

any ideas?

Oil temp gauge? 120C is normal, but if it's higher than it used to be, it could be because the original FMIC mounting doesn't block the radiator where the BT style does. Additionally, there will be a big gaping hole where the original IC went, and all the air from the front will spill under the radiator and out that hole instead of going through the radiator.

The outside temp sensor is in the front plastic shrouding. Did it get moved or is it dangling near the radiator?

IIRC the outside temp sensor is located in front of the intercooler, so it's possible that it got damaged or wasn't reinstalled correctly.

Mine went through a weird period of reading 10-15 degrees hotter than it should have, but somehow it must have "fixed itself" because it only did that for a few days and then went back to bring fairly accurate.
