GP Thunder 8500K Angels Before/After Install Pics!

Topic: GP Thunder 8500K Angel Eyes E92

Hey guys, I just installed my GP Thunder 8500K Angel Eyes Bulbs on my E92! The Germans do not realize how little of space they provide to allow removal/installation of new bulbs. It was a trying experience, but doable with some patience. For those of you who order them, make sure not to touch the bulb!

Overall, the change was WELL worth the money I paid for the bulbs ($19 on eBay). One criticism, as seen in the pictures, is the outer ring isn't as illuminated as the inners. With consideration of the total outcome, this aftermarket product is a great alternative to the OSS Angel Eyes for 1/25ish (19:500) of the cost.

Here are some before and after pictures! Enjoy! Feel free to comment!

GPs are ok for the price you pay. To be honest I don't really like the OSS stuff anyway.

I also got LED white angel eyes off ebay for $50 (more expensive for LCI sedans) and I'm not very pleased with them. They look great, they even fill the entire bulb. But, they are completely invisible during the day. My OEM xenons were pretty visible and I'm just so jealous of Audi's and the newer BMW's headlights. I still wouldn't fork over $250 for OSS though.

Thanks guys! @GChase: The GP Thunders are actually very visible in daylight. The only complaint I have is again the outer ring strength. The new BMW's look great, OSS is the best IMO. The price just takes it out of the picture, a way better light upgrade for double that would be the LCI tails.

But I'm in high school and I'm on a high school student's budget.. lol sure my dad helped me pay for the car but there's no way in hell he's helping me 'mod' my car. I wish I could get another job though, but with two sports during the school year with AP classes I don't have any time. :/

I'm on the same boat haha! I just found a used Remus Race Exhaust for $750 in my area, which I thought was a killer deal. I asked my father to borrow some of the total, but he told me to wait until after october to get a job (in order to focus on SAT's, AP's, & college apps). He's really done so much for me already buying me what I have, so I definitely understand. I have a space grey e92 and this is what I want my final look to be. Please check it out and let me know whether it needs some tweaks. One tweak for me would be to debadge the 335i sign

Had my 7500k's for over six months and I agree, best bang for the buck especially after recoding them to run at full voltage with headlights on.
