ATTN Gamers: Which mousepad?
i'm trying to decide which mousepad to go with and have narrowed it down to these two:
Razer Vespula http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Vespula-.../ref=pd_cp_e_0 Razer Scarab http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Scarab-E...azer+mouse+pad does anyone own either of these? i'm leaning towards the vespula mainly because of the dual surface but i'm worried i might not like the cushion, and was wondering if the pad is usable if i take out the cushion/grip. from what i understand and have seen in review videos only the green edges offer some sort of grip after you take away the bottom portion. any thoughts? |

Im a HUGE razer fan but both those pads are crap IMO.
I use the Razer Goliathus speed edition alpha size. Nothing touches that pad. Simple and effective. You don't need to waste more money on anything else.

Don't get Vespula. I have one. Two hours after getting it, there were fine scratches on it, but worked fine. About three months after, the scratches were significant enough to make the pointer randomly skip. Now I just use the mouse directly on my desk. By the way, I'm using a Razer DeathAdder mouse.

http://www.amazon.com/3M-Leatherette.../dp/B000ZHB2HS This is what I use. It is made to be used with high DPI laser mice and it helps extend battery life on wireless mice.

Using the Razer Naga, not even at 2000 DPI, and I have never wished it were larger. Actual size is 8.5 inches wide by 9.5 inches deep (including wrist guard).
