LED Angel Eyes Problem :(
Purchased some LED 7000k angel eyes off of eBay a couple weeks ago and they've been okay. For $40 my expectations weren't sky high but oh well. They are great at night but they aren't visible in the day. But that's not the problem. I think every one knows that when you turn with your headlights on the inner bulb lights up and helps extend visibility to the left or right. The annoyance is that the inner bulb is still Xenon yellow, so it looks pretty ugly next to the LED white lights. I'm not sure if this is able to be fixed by coding, or if my angel eyes are at fault or I need to replace a different light to change the color of that inner bulb (my fogs are still OEM

I think if you drive in the manual low-beam mode, the turning lights don't come one. They only come on when you turn the headlight switch to the Auto mode.
Correct me if I am wrong |

Those are just a normal bulb H7, you should be able to get a 7k color bulb for those so that they are a similar white to your LED's, something like this http://www.amazon.com/Nokya-Arctic-W.../dp/B0013I5WN8

This may be stupid but where are these installed? Is it near the angel eye bulb or in the actually headlight? A video or picture will probably clear this up.

I can confirm that for an E92/93 Pre-LCI, and the E90/E91 LCI, you use an H3 bulb for the cornering lights. I am also 99% confident that the E92/E93 LCI also uses an H3 bulb for the cornering lights.

http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/nost2cowhh3t.html <-- I have these in my cornering lights, and they're pretty much perfect. The color is a pure, pure white (tint vs. colored glass makes a huge difference!) and I've had no issues with the extra draw from the bulb. Given that they're only on for (at max) 30 seconds at a time, it's nothing to worry about. I've kept tabs on my car, and it's taken very well to the bulbs. Quote:

![]() Any clue on how to install the H3's? And also the link you posted to those H3's are 5000k, but my headlights are 7000k. Any recommendations on a 7000k H3? |
