Exclamation Los Angeles Photography Help/spots

So I have a project for school to do, I'm located around Westwood/Pacific Palisades/ Santa Monica/ Malibu/ Beverly Hills. Could anyone give me some tips where some good spots are to do a little photo shoot of my car either at night or early morning. I need still and rolling shots please give me a pic or address of the place if possible. Always willing to take a drive though, thanks.
Here's the car, lighting can get hard at times.

if you're looking for graffiti spots, you gotta hit up architecture school area in downtown LA and you got the downtown buildings there as well.

For your rolling shot, you need a faster shutter speed. In both shots, area touch ups of sharpening, contrast, and exposure will need to be adjusted properly. Make sure your tone curve is set to a high contrast. PCH would be a great road for the rolling shots. Good luck!!!

Thanks the it was actually just panning because my friends suck at taking pictures so I made them do that instead, when I get the time I will take it to photoshop and try to clean things up. But what settings do you suggest for rolling shots like on pch going around 50mph during early morning sunrise?

I usually drop the shutter to 1/125 and adjust the aperture from there; keep your car at same speed and hope for a smooth road(pch should be exempt from this factor).

Well, I would recommend a fairly large aperture, 4.0-5.6 (2.8 and larger is just too much bokeh so the rear end of the car may come out blurry) In terms of your shutter, you are going to need somewhere between 1/120 to 1/250, all depends on the rolling speed and how "streaky" you want your background. I would recommend putting your lens on your door frame to stabilize the shot. I would recommend taking the show wider, and then cropping to your liking. Let me know how else I can help you.
