It's hot everywhere. My guess is that they want to wait until it cools down a bit before hitting the strip or doing any 60-130s.

Who cares!? No on is saying to hotlap the thing and beat it to death. And with the supporting mods and all the meth they are spraying, the heat shouldn't be too much of a detriment. And at least we'll have something to compare with other cars that are running now.

I think it's bs that no one is posting their single results.

Set some baseline high temp results to give meaning to later cool weather "glory" runs.

Differentials between previous stock turbo runs to new single runs would also be meaningful.

Monumental let down from the community, IMO.

Tons of hype about getting your singles installed and now silence. Shame...

I cannot speak for anyone else, but I posted dyno numbers with a video with days of getting my car back. The power I showed verifies all times that Shiv ran. I haven't seen other dynos, so I cannot speak for the other guys but I showed everyone what my car is capable of.

+1000000000. There are several local guys to shiv that can borrow his vbox and do some runs at night, who cares if its not a record setting et at least we could see some high traps...

Then buy one people. Don't live waiting for our numbers pony up and pay for a Single upgrade if not wait for out schedule to allow for the track and runs. Simple as that. I'm not gonna sit in blazing heat to prove anything to anyone. I know what I have and the members who don't wanna pony up cash and or will never be happy with the results can kiss it.

Really you need to check the weather in San Ramon CA. Better yet try a track day at Sacramento Raceway. It's not 60 degrees! Lol

Sadly my car is still in the body shop right now, so there is no steering wheel time at all.

No, it's been 90-100 in my area in the East Bay. And the drag strip is in Sacramento.

BTW, you guys need to realize the complications of running this type of setup at a drag strip. As soon as you hit these "10s" they are going to kick you out if you don't have a roll cage. Secondly, most of these guys want to do half-mile/airstrip runs where it can really shine at 60-130 and up.

60-130 at night. It's gets to about 70 degrees. Even lower temp in the bay area. What is the estimate anyways? Mid 6s, low 7s?

The kind of backlash these forums give might be keeping some away. There are many who'd love the opportunity to compare a single turbo run in high heat/humidity to an upgraded twins run in super negative DA and then call it a fair comparison.

Having said that, I'd love to see some strip #s, even if conditions are bad. Need something to knock me off the fence.

10s quarter mile runs aren't as easy as people think, regardless of horsepower. Look at the stories and timeslips from ZL1 Camaros, ZR1 Vettes, Mustangs, etc, where a 600hp car at a less than ideal track or piloted by a driver of only average experience at a dragstrip cuts times much slower what the magazine professionals and other highly experienced racers run.

The guys who live their lives 1/4mi at a time relish those numbers. Others who wish to turn the internet into their own personal magazine racing pissing contests do, too. The guys who have bought the first successful single turbo are probably just driving, not worrying about how they stack up against anyone else.
