can cabin air filter get wet?

hello. i was washing my engine bay today and when i finished i realized i probably got the cabin air filter wet, i felt under the cowl with my hand and it was wet. will it just dry and be alright or do i need to replace the cabin air filter now? thanks

Only if you start getting a bad smell in your a/c after a couple days. This would be due to mold.
