Dentist = a lifetime of looking into people gobs and fiddling around. They can have their £100K and 730ds ! I'd rather have a 'proper' normal career !

Carlos,

My brother's a dentist & I told him about this thread you started.

As he climbed out of his 500SL AMG & into his 911 turbo, he asked me if I'd kindly tell you to f**k right off & save this sort of thing for a dental forum!

Lost fingers= NONE!!!!

I'll admit to being a dentist and i'm proud of it. What exactly do you consider a normal 'proper' job. I dont earn £100k a year on the NHS but have a house, 06 GTI and 07 Alpina D3 so dont really need any other type of job LOL.

No injuries as yet but loads of funny stories. Usually the same scenario of macho blokes who crap themselves in my chair and pray i dont hurt them. Its the only time that'll happen!!!

OK, so it depends on what 'floats your boat', looking into mouths for 40 years does not, and would not, do it for me!! Ok so the NHS does not give you £100K per year, so who makes up the difference??

The suicide rate amongs vets, farmers, doctors & dentists is apparently a lot higher than for other professions.

So, there's always advantages & disadvantages to every career, I suppose?!

Matt, apparently, they laugh for a while, until they start crying, uncontrollably!
