Fuel pump failure auto or manual problem and speak up if you have a sedan/manual

From what I hear a ton of coupes that have the auto are falling down fast.

I also wonder if the way the car is driven affects the pumps more then a casual drive. I bet the average forum member here is to say the least a bit right footed.

Speak up here if you have a sedan and a stick and fuel pump failure.

Actually, it seems the vast majority of the pump failures are in sedans.
But that's probably more simply because the sedans sell 10 cars for every 2-3 coupes.
There is no correlation between auto or manuals failing.
It has to do with the fuel pump, not the transmission or body style.
