Engine's Oil Level variations
I was having a trip yesterday, driving for 2-2,5 hours on highway in relevantly high-speeds continiously (from 140kmh minimum to 190-200kmh maximum) using mainly the 6th speed.
While on the way ,I checked the oil-meter and to my surprise the indication display showed that the the oil-levels was decreased by 1/4 of the proper oil capacity (!!). I attempted to checked a couple more times and the indication kept displaying that oils were decreased. When I entered the city (that the speeds reduced due to traffic conditions) I attempted to check the oil's levels again. ...well...everything looked good this time. The oil levels was back to standard (proper) level. Any idea why did this happened?

You sure you lost 1/4 of your oil or did the display just show 1/4 th of a quart lower...

The display showed that my oils was 1/4 lower but when the speeds came back to normal (city conditions) the oil level (display) appeared to be on the right level.

I haven't looked at it lately but fairly sure that bar represents a quart, not the full tank. If you oil showed dropping by that much you would get a warning to add oil.

Sorry if i was not clear enough...
The bar displayed that my oil level had dropped from 4/4 of the tank to the 3/4 of the tank (which means that somehow the 1/4 has been burned/consumed/drained). Then it returned back to normal...my question is why did this happened?

i noticed in mine that sometimes when my oil is about half full and i'm on a incline it says i need to add a qrt of oil because it senses that i dont have enough oil, but then when i get back on level ground i'm ok again... could you have possibly been on an incline while on the highway?
