I'm looking to purchase a new car next Thursday. I was wondering if someone has a carfax account. Please help a fellow member out and run a VIN for me? I would be very grateful....

I'm assuming you're buying it from a Private Seller & not a dealer (otherwise you'd have a CarFax).


You can get the VIN & call a local BMW Dealer. I did it when I was shopping around to confirm all the factory options, the BMW maintenance records & if there was any serious damage to the car they were aware of.

Thanks Man, I ran one with another company. I just wanted to double check with Carfax. I was told carfax is one of better company's to use.

Thanks Man, I've Had them check the features, but wasn't aware I could ask them to check on any damage. I'll call them back.

Yea, I didn't have any damage but they were able to let me know the HPFP & Injectors had all been replaced under the recall in addition to the last time the oil, spark plugs, air filters, brakes had all been changed
