spacer question on square setup 18x8.5 +35
i have had my wheels on my car for about a month now, absolutely love em .
vmr v710s they are a square setup, however i would like to bring the rears out a bit. at least sit flush. the current setup is 18x8.5 +35 offset 235/40/18 all around what kinda mm spacers should i be looking for without causing any problems? i am on stock sport suspension. 2008 e90 328i sedan. looking at the bms spacers also will adding spacers to the rear, make my tire wear unevenly in anyway? thanks in advance |

10mm or 12mm spacers will be fine.

If you've got an e90 pre-lci, you can go with 20mm in the rear.

you can easily do a 12mm spacer out back. i have +40 on my 8.5s and put 15s on them and could have gone with 20mm spacers. Id get the TMS spacers, lightweight, strong, easy to remove and engineered very well.

I don't see any issues running either a 12 or 15mm. Many people such as deerfield know spacers pretty well and if you wanted to go on the aggressive side, a 20mm may work with no rubbing. It honestly depends on how aggressive you want to go, 12 and 15 is only a 3mm difference

i actually have silver bolts out back and black up front so tire shops dont mess up what bolts go where.. haha.
15s should be perfect!

See sig below...I went with 15mm and it rubbed the inner fender liner in the rear ever so slightly, so I use 10mm now with no issues. My tires are a tiny bit taller than yours though, so you might be able to get away with the 15mm spacers out back....you'll just have to try it and see for yourself.
