E92 MATS?

Car due early August and i've realised that mats aren't included!

Are the E92 mats the same shape as the saloon/estates?

£70 seems a bit of a joke

Yep, same way in the states except some dealers throw them in. Here's your chance to decide if you want the all-weather ones or not.

It is definately a case of BMW being tight and extracting the maximum 'pound of flesh' from customers. Even the likes of VW and Audi have mats as standard on a lot of their more expensive cars.

At least not as expensive as they used to be BMW once charged over £100 for a set, at least my dealer paid for mine.

The mats were free with the Z4, but I'm not overly happy with the mats in the E92 to be honest. The drivers side mat is showing some wear after 6 months (wear marks from shoes with heels)

Try wearing flats when you drive

My E91 came with full set, although I might invest in the all weather ones for the winter (or if this weather continues )

I can check between an E91 and E92 when I get home this evening - if you still have not got an answer.

Although it would appear they are not the same from this E90 mats ebay item which indicates that they ALSO do mats for E91 and E92

I saw a link to someone that makes good quality personalised mats for less than the beemer ones. However...if you go too mad they could look a bit chav....i.e. blue with pink piping and your name in initials on them

I'd stick with the beemer ones or find someone who can do something identical for less money.... they are rather good I think.

I bought mine from there too .... I forgot to ask the dealer to chuck em in as well since they have come for free on all my company cars.

The black matches the carpets exactly and they fit properly as well.

Wish I'd gone for the 'ice cool' flashing ones now though

Isn't there a risk of getting carpet burns with a cheap mat?!!!

Yep ... just look for the stripes ....

Works with Badgers also ... and zebras (if you have the room)

But what about the tapirs ....

Reminds me of the immortal words of Mr Bill Bailey:

Wooo
The horse is a noble beast
From the mustangs of the west
To the stallions of the east
But the horse has a distant cousin
It lives I-do-not-know-where
But its message of racial harmony is one that we all can share

Hats off to the zebras
They are black and white
But they don't fight
'Cos they're not very good at it

In a world of confusion
We all need a sign
If only we could live side by side
Like the stripes down a zebras spine

Hats of to the zebras, yeah

The humble badger
Takes a sip of morning dew
He's totally colourblind
So he can't judge you

But the badger is a dreamer
The badger has a plan
He knows that his destiny
Is to help his fellow man

Hats off to the badger
He is black and white
But he doesn't fight
Except for mating rights and territory

Black man and a white man
Both they need to shave
United by the badger brush
He's helping from beyond the grave

Hats off to the badger
What about the tapeer
Half zebra half pig
Imagine the stig-ma
But the tapeer stands proud
Hats off to the tapeer

Badgers and zebras
Skunks, oh yeah
Little ring-tailed leemurs
Living together in harmony

And if the killer whales can do it, why can't we?
Tell me why can't we?

My E60 came without any mats, I bought some cheap e60 mats from ebay but they kept slipping and then catching on the clutch pedal. I ended up buying the OEM mats.
