Problems after sub installation?

To you guys who have upgraded your sound systems with a sub or even more, has the dealership gave you any problems concerning your warranty?
Yes before you ask i have read the sticky about mods voiding the warranty,
Im just about to install my amp and sub and Im just wondering if anyone has had any problems and what they were so i can do my best to avoid them.

Thanks in advance!!!!!

speaking as someone who was recently a client advisor at a local BMW dealership, the only way they can void your warranty is if they can prove without a doubt that what you did as a modification is what caused the problem that is to be covered under the warranty. And I also say this with the 5yrs experiance as a professional car audio installer in a high end shop where most of our clients drove highend german and european automobiles. we had a few issues with dealers trying to blame us for stuff, but 99% of the time it was something they didn't look at enough, and it was just easier for them to blame the stereo equipment than to spend the time to find the real problem. The best part would be after we would remove things they would say that the problem was still there, and find after 3-4 hrs of diagnostic time it was a factory issue. but something like adding a sub shouldn't cause any issues, just be sure to protect and seal any wires that pass through holes you may drill through metal. use grommets and silicone, cause water damage is one thing they will get you on everytime.
