You will need to retrofit, not as simple as just coding.

The LCI models have the ability to download and install a software update from the BMW website if it is available for your VIN. I suggest you try that out, and if this does not work for your particular phone, visit your dealership to discuss.

Thanks for the information.

However, may i ask, or 2007 325i, generally, are these cars support iPhone?

moreover, i have heard about the news regarding the ConnectedDrive....it sounds very interesting with the locking/unlocking, adjusting temperature inside the car, flash the headlight, etc, with your iPhone and the apps....
May i ask if i can use these features as well for my 2007 325i?
Simply download the apps? then how to connect to my car?
if not, what can i do in order to use the functions?

Thank you so much, but i am new to BMW and found that many function to be explored.......

e90 - 2005-start to end of 2007

e90 LCI - 2008 onwards

LCI stands for (something like) lifecycle impulse - meaning mid cycle model upgrade. LCI e90s have subtle improvements over the older e90s such as more angled bonnet, LED tail lights, slightly different front bumper, etc...

May I ask if you have to buy an adaptor in order to use the iPhone?
And do your contacts on the phone shows up in iDrive?
(I am not too sure how iDrive works......)
