Hi guys

With several of you making the conversion, how did you clean insides of the salvaged manifold??

Mine has a thin layer of grease and I want to know if I should clean it?
I think the grease is natural build up, but I wanna clean it since it could get into the engine.

EDIT
found many e39 links for cleaning the m60 manifold will reference a few soon.
1) take off all sensors & DISA
2) Simple Green, purple smth, engien degreeser and event the CNC MAF Cleaner
3) a Tub
4) brushes & select pipe cleaners
5) air dry & compressed air blow

EDIT 2
used water via a hose and basic dish/ car soap
Let it try for 3days, disa holes make it easy and great for draining
