Not so retro-fit

I know. I know. You get what you pay for but I Need a hand on a fix. Long story short, I ordered a set of Depo headlights and a set of projectors to replace the unusable ones it had originally. The retrofit went smooth but then the trouble started: First the plastic vertical leveling clips on the Depo headlight stripped. Once stripped, the clips popped off completely leaving the headlight in a down facing position. Any suggestions on how to find a quick fix besides trashing this now $1000 DIY project??

Ps. In case you're wondering. $600 for Depo headlights.
$160 for D2S HID kit.
$140 for projectors.
$100 for miscellaneous glues, dremel, and sealant.

damn... that sucks man... u should've went with LCI halogens if anything... u can usually catch a deal for $400 (average) for a set... now that you've spent $1000 on headlights, maybe xenons are looking like a much better choice, no?

I don't really have any advice for you though as those clips sound like they're just cheaply made... not much u can do other than gluing them back on.

The cost of doing business I guess. Lol. Only reason I went Depo was because of the LED rings, LED turn signal, and projectors. It wasn't till I got them that realized the projectors were crap and the rest was cheap plastic. I guess I can go OEM from a 2011 335i or something.

If you're handy enough to do a retrofit, I'm sure you're more than capable of ghetto rigging a level adjustment?
