Thoughts on my 1/4 mile. (video)

This is the first time at the drag strip with the Procede installed.

Car has DCI and Procede Rev 2 with a 1/4 tank of Sunoco 104oct

15.5psi with timing Correction set at 50%

it felt pretty fast, but i cant help but think i should have gotten into the 12's
(my guess is i need better rubber)
fastest time was 13.1 @106mph.

I can't seem to get out of the 13's either. (but I've trapped as high as 112) At 106 MPH, the car has 12's in it. It's all in the launch, and then how fast/smooth you can shift. What are your 60fts?

If you are running 104oct, there is no reason you can't turn that boost up to 17psi and run 0% ignition correction. That alone will pick up 40-50whp. It may also be worth updating to a Rev2.5 (for $50) just so you can run the aggressive maps.

Definitely upgrade to the 2.5 and change maps. I cut .4 off my 1/4 time just with that simple change.

I spoke with robert, and he told me to run 15.5psi and go from there. Didn't want to get too greedy. This was my first time running race gas. Also my car is stock other than for the DCI.

Rev2.5 is on my To Do list, this was a spur of the moment type of thing, didn't have time to wait for it.

So to recap, 17psi and 0% IC is doable on 104oct on a stock car?

that might solve your problem. Plus the how was the track sticking? i hear a bit of wheel spin which is okay, but could be a little more sticky. You should brake boost a little more too.

the track prep was pretty good, best i've seen yet. i break boosted to about 5psi @ 2200rpm on 2nd gear. any more than that and the tires would spin like crazy

If you can get your 60' time to 1.9-2.0, you'll run 12s. Easier said than done with some track and tires however. But definitely turn up the boost and set IC to 0%. That will help in a big way when running high oct race gas.
