NYC - Best/affordable place for an oil change?
Any recommendations for the best/most affordable place in the NYC area to get an oil change?
Dealership in Manhattan wants $200+, which is ridiculous. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. |

Springfield BMW charges 75-85, if you're willing to travel to NJ.

Do the oil change yourself, pickup the oil at Autozone, etc. filter, easiest maintenance you can do and save yourself a ton of $$.
Oil is on sale at Napa > Mobil1 0w40 for $5.89 a qt. http://www.napaonline.com/Savings/Cu...tions/Oil.aspx

Stupid question but would a bmw dealer flag a car in the system if they noticed signs of a tune or bolt ons if I'm just taking it in for an oil change.
Normally, I do my own oil change but I feel like there's still some oil left behind from the car only being jacked up from 1 side. Any thoughts on this? |

+1. Not worth the time/effort to do it yourself at that price. well, maybe if I had a nice garage setup with a lift...but...I don't. I'll do things like spark plugs and coil packs b/c they're easy to access. Keep in mind that BMW dealerships take coupons from competitor dealerships so do some google searches.
