Pan handle body shops
Hey everyone I'm looking for tips on selecting a body shop.
I'm at Tyndall AFB (Panama City) and the closest BMW CCRC is Tom Bush of Jacksonville or Bert Smith of St. Petersburg. The closest BMW dealership (Quality of Ft. walton) said they send people to Joe Hudson. And There's one in PC too. I'm from St. Louis, MO so I've never heard of the Joe Hudson franchise. Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with Joe hudson? Do they use OEM BMW parts, can I trust their work? I'm willing to make the drive to a CCRC, but local repairs would be more convenient. |

Heard some bad opinions of Joe Hudson in Fort Walton. Everyone I have ever talked to at Hurlburt/Eglin speaks highly of Miracle Strip Body in Fort Walton. Plus they are a USAA certified body shop if that matters to you.

The more I think about it, the More I want to take it to Jacksonville or St. Petersburg. I was also thinking about buying the bumper myself, since I already got paid by Geico and I can save/make a few hundred. Given the pictures, would you say I have the "aero" package" ? I know my car has the "sport Package" not sure if they are the same.
I Think I found all the parts I need (just a bumper cover and the screen center here: http://www.tomkinsonbmwparts.com/sho...?siteid=215996 |

Wow, there isn't anywhere in Tallahassee or Pensacola that could take it?
I just found this shop yesterday, maybe they can recommend somewhere: http://henrysimportrepair.com/ We're kind of sucking for maintenance in PCB. Edit: Is there an auto self-service bay with lifts at Tyndall?

Roslunds in Tallahassee is pretty good. They mainly only due BMW and mercs.
I have to say they are a smaller shop and are quite slow sometimes on major repairs. Something like this they should be able to knock out quickly. |
