And yet BMW is still consistent on 'Only cars after march 07 are affected'. OP, sorry to hear that. I hope things goes smooth. But you should write to Watchdog asap, so they include it on tonight program and also write to BMW so their 'efficient technical team' reconsider looking at pre-2007 cars.

Ah is that the gospel according to BMW? Chapter 1-Verse 1:BMW wheels only crack if caused by impact or potholes, any cracking is not BMW's responsibility. Chapter 2-Verse 1:Our cars meet the stringest of security requirements, technology is always evolving and the thieves are evolving and catching car manufacturers up. The issue is not confined to BMW,and it's up to owners to ensure that their cars are secure. Trusting BMW after two massive climbdowns after being exposed by Watchdog and other media,is comparable to trusting Captain Schettino to sail a liner between the Isle of Wight and the sth coast! If it was stolen without the keys, i would suggest BMW need to be notified about this as their line, which i've thought was rubbish from day 1, was that only Mar 07->Sept 2010 cars were affected.

Had
colour coded kidneys BMW performance brakes Darkline rears SE Dakota trim Real kick in the nuts its just had a full service Anyone in the SE/London area be aware of any of the above bits comming up for sale. As IMO this model suffers from ODB issues as there was no sign of break in on my drive and the insurance company have requested both keys to be analysed by BMW. Aparently due to the high volum of BMWs going missing my claim could take up to 8 weeks to complete which is bollocks. Last edited by fadeel; 09-19-2012 at 09:29 AM.. |

Thanks much appreciated. Also the BMW Perofmance brakes discs were plain 135i discs oposed to the drilled set you get with them as standard. Will be interesting to see if any of the bits come up on ebay.
