335d power loss at WOT - FIXED

Update to previous thread:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=735804

in case it's of any help to anyone with the same problem.

I took the car into PMW at Chelmsford (would highly recommend) and they diagnosed a faulty exhaust back pressure sensor, which was causing the DPF to not regenerate.

I thought it was odd that I'd never felt it regen in the 6 months I'd owned the car.

As a consequence the DPF had become partially blocked, showing 50mb below maximum pressure. I'm told a first attempt to force a regen failed but a second attempt and extended roadtest did succeed and brought the back pressure to 180mb below maximum.

So all happy again now, they also carried out a smoke test on the vacuum system, confirming no leaks.
