Hello, up for a sell is a used BMW Media iPhone 4/4S Cradle in good working condition. I picked up an iPhone 5, so I no longer need this item. It has worked perfectly for me.

SOLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've added some photos of what the inside of the armrest should look like in order to have the ability to plug in the cradle, hope this helps.
1st picture is of the cradle plugged in.
2nd picture is with no cradle, and just the cover in place.
3rd picture is with no cradle and with the cover removed so you can snap in the cradle.

No, it just snaps in and works. What I liked about it the most (worked well) it uses the car antenna for better cell reception. and no wires loose (like the white usb cable) And there is a fan for the phone.

If you have a OtterBox case on the 4s does it have to come off?

Yes, any case you will need to take it off. It would be too tight to fit

To be honest, from what I know, you need to have the connections inside your armrest to be able to snap in the device. If you open your armrest and it looks like something goes there just like the pictures, it should work. Now Im not sure about which idrive/navi version you need to have.

you need to have the smart phone intergration package as 6fl is just the usb connector without the snap in connector and cradle. Smartphone integration option (SA 6NF) or BMW Apps (SA 6NR)
