I was just there this past monday-wednesday. we pretty much stayed in the HB (can't remember the full name right now) tent the whole time. I've got a few pictures that I took wtih my phone. I'll upload them soon.

I think we're heading to Stuttgart on Saturday for the day to check out Volkfest. Any plans for you guys?

I think this weekend is the start of Volksfest. It's probably going to be super crowded. If you want to meet up though, pm me. we'll grab a beer!

I might head up tomorrow... my buddy said he'd give me a ride and he got an "apartment" for the night. I think it is just one of those hotel rooms that has a living room as well, with two bedrooms. Anyway, he is with his wife and another guy with his wife... so I'll be the 5th wheel. At least I have a place to crash and a ride down... lol

Yes! The Volksfest in Bad Cannstatt(Stuttgart near MB and the Soccer Stadium) is a nice one. I like it because it is a fairly large fest, yet no drunk Japanese or American tourists!

It is really a well kept secret to go to this Fest. And only 200K people daily vs 400K in Munchen! The Fest starts this weekend and ends on October 14th.

Yeah man, we should've stayed the night. We had a HELL of a time getting back on the train that night. Long story short, it took us almost 10 hours just to get from Stuttgart HBF to K-Town...

Two thigns I've learned since being in Germany for a month...

Germans can drink! Went to Bad Durckheim, Oktoberfest, then Bad Canstatter back-to-back-to-back weekends. Liver. needs. Break.

It is really hard to convey how crowed it is at OktoberFest. get there early if you want a table and some food.

Another nice Fest is the one in Stuttgart called the: Bad Cannstadter Fest. It always starts the week after the Munich fest and runs until the following week after the O-Fest in Munich ends. The Cannstadter Fest is nice bc many Americans and Japanese do not know about it... so its less packed.

After going to Oktoberfest and Volksfest...

I keep seeing pictures of all my friends back in the states and Korea drinking regular pints. It just doesn't look right! haha They're so tiny
