2008 BMW 535i CPO
hello fellas, on feb 2010, i picked up this 2008 bmw 535i from pacific bmw as a cpo car. the cpo extends the warranty for a total of 6 years / 100,000 miles. the car was bone stock and was a current lease return with around 22k on it. car has 53,100 miles at that time, i was lusting over the E60 M5. but it was way out of my budget. so i settled with the i6 twin turbo. the car was love at first sight. coming from civic, g35, 350z.. this was my first bmw. and i was completely transformed. this car exceeded ALL of my expectations! the ride was luxurious, comfortable, sporty and most of all i wanted a sedan. i got the sport transmission package which includes the paddle shifters, sportier looking shift knob and the sports button. the car was/is a blast to drive! the power is satisfying. i know there are several ways to go if i wanted to tune the car and add some extra juice, but for the sake of warranty etc, i have never tuned the car in any way. the power "with the sports button" was more than enough for me. after a few month of owning the car, i came across 2 vendors who carried the m5 kit. so i decided to transform the car to look like the e60 m5. then around aug of that year, the car had the fuel pump issue. and as you know bmw has a recall for failed fuel pumps up to 100,000 miles, i believe. when i took in the car, my sa told me they received the newer version of the pump. ever since then, the car ran perfect without a problem. it has been 2yrs worry free after the new fuel pump. i wanted to briefly give you my insights as a car enthusiast to another. hoping this car lands to someone who appreciates the car as it is. -jet black -black dakota leather -Premium package -Sport package -sport auto transmission -bamboo anthracite wood trim -heated front seats -pdc -Navigation -Ipod/usb adapter -sat radio capable -anthracite headliner mods done to the car: trinity- m5 front, m5 sides umnitza - m5 rear rd-sport quad exhaust 19" oem m5 wheels tints front 35% rear 20% smoked led side lights i also have all the stock parts, such as the exhaust, body parts. the car has always been garage kept both at home and work and smoke free honestly, i would love to keep the car. as there isnt anything i want to trade it for. BUT  ... i came across the car i was lusting for what felt like eternity. last week i picked up the E60 M5 :JAMIN: hence the sale :BOUNCE: its definitely a sad day, to see the 535i go. and if your wondering the difference between the 535i vs M5 ... ill sum it up with just a short sentence. 535i was a beast on chains (of course in a good way!) m5... well its a beast in the wilderness!! :icon30: i will have this car for sale as is for a MONTH then, im going to part out the car and sell it stock either private or to the dealer. i am asking 27,999 obo you have any questions, feel free to pm or email me at "username"@hotmail.com |
