Need help remove DCT console

Does anyone have a DIY on how to remove or pull out the shift knob area on a 335is.

I would like to pull out the chrome portion so I can do a vinyl wrap.

Sorry I can't help you but I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps getting blinded by the sun glare off of that thing!

All you do is hold onto it hard, and pull up. It's not hard at all.
