?Rear Break Question?
What's up Forum!
I am looking for clarification or guidance on this. My rear break sensor started to throw an error message that the breaks needed replacing. That lasted about 2 weeks, during that time I went out got pads, rotors, and a new sensor. But all of sudden the error message went away without me replacing breaks. Why is that??? I know I am do for a break change but why did the error message just go away? Thanks for any insight! |

false positives, i got the message 1k miles after replacing my pads. Then i had to reset service again. When you go to change your pads just take a look at the sensor and see if the tip is damaged. I would replace it anyway though.
Also, i highly recommend going w/ akebono ceramic pads and say bye to brake dust.

Thanks!
Actually I already bought the pads (red stuff), ECS Geomet cross drilled/slotted rotors, and a new sensor. I just haven't gotten around to installing everything. $220 for everything not bad a deal and will be doing the install myself. |
